100% PTFE gaskets are highly resistant to all corrosive media, including acids, alkalis, and solvents. PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) is a synthetic polymer with excellent chemical resistance properties, making it an ideal material for gaskets used in applications where contact with corrosive media is common.
