A193 B7 Stud Bolt is a type of bolt with threads on both ends, designed to be screwed into a fixed component on one end and accommodate a nut on the other end. In Petroleum or Chemical industry, they are prominently used for flange connection, so stud bolt used with two nuts on either side is the most common combination which replaces bolt and nut assembly.
As is well known, Stud Bolts have many categories, and the type for flange connection is called a flange stud bolt, which has a fully thread end with a civity. The theoretical length is measured through threads. The continuous threaded stud bolt is very similar to it, except no chambered ends.
A stud bolt with 2 hexagonal nuts bichromated plated fastener is an industrial fastener used for piping applications. It consists of a threaded rod and two hexagonal nuts, one on each end.
The bichromate plating on the stud bolt provides corrosion resistance, making it suitable for harsh environments. Using two nuts on the stud bolt allows for a more secure connection between the pipes, as it provides more even and controlled tension.
The stud bolt with 2 hexagonal nuts is typically used in piping applications where there is a need to join two pipes or fittings together securely. The threaded rod is inserted through the two holes on the flange of the pipes or fittings, and the hexagonal nuts are tightened at both ends to form a tight and secure connection.
The advantages of using a stud bolt with 2 hexagonal nuts bichromated plated fastener for piping applications include easy of installation and the ability to quickly and easily disassemble and replace the bolts for maintenance or repair. The bichromate plating on the fastener provides excellent resistance to corrosion and rust, making it very suitable for use outdoor or in corrosive environments.
Overall, the stud bolt with 2 hexagonal nuts bichromated plated fastener is a reliable and durable solution for piping applications, providing excellent corrosion resistance and ease of installation and maintenance.
